As anticipation builds, many fans have taken to social media to share their thoughts on the game’s outcome—particularly about the Chiefs’ chances of winning.
The game will air on FOX and will also be available for streaming on mobile devices via NFL+. Discussions online have centered around the Chiefs’ success, with some users expressing frustration over their continued dominance.
On X (formerly Twitter), one user wrote, “I’ll actually be pissed if the chiefs [sic] win another Super Bowl.” Another user added, “I actually don’t even know who the chiefs are playing in the Super Bowl. I just know the chiefs will be given the win [sic].”Some users believe that officiating has favored Kansas City. One user commented, “I think the NFL is rigged to help the Chiefs win. In a February 4, post by Fox Sports NFL, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce addressed the ongoing discussion about officiating. When asked what question he would ask the media, Kelce responded, “Why are you guys leaning into this whole ref thing? You know what I mean? Like, why are you guys leaning into it?”
His response indicates that the Chiefs are aware of the criticism surrounding their victories, though Kelce did not expand further on the topic.
The conversation surrounding the game also extended to the White House. On February 4, President Donald Trump was asked about the Super Bowl during a press session in the Oval Office. While he did not explicitly predict a winner, his comments suggested he expects a Chiefs victory.”I don’t want to say but there’s a certain quarterback that seems to be a pretty good winner,” Trump said. Many interpreted this as a reference to Patrick Mahomes, who has led the Chiefs to two consecutive Super Bowl titles and could secure a third.In addition to his remarks, it was confirmed on February 5 that President Trump will attend the Super Bowl in New Orleans. This marks a historic moment, as he will be the first sitting U.S. president to attend the game in person.
